MIL-DTL-26482 Series 2 Explained: MS3470, MS3471, MS3474, MS3475, MS3476 and MS27476 Part Numbers

MIL-DTL-26482 Series 2 is the rear-release crimp version of the 26482 bayonet connector. It is specified on most new-build harnesses that call for 26482 and it intermates with the Series 1 shells already in the field.

MS3476 straight plug; W class (olive drab cadmium, environmental, the most common); 12 shell size; 10 insert arrangement (12-10 is 5 contacts size 16); P pin contacts. Other classes: L environmental with fluorosilicone seals for high temperature, F firewall, A general purpose (no rear grommet).
