MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 miniature bayonet connectors are used throughout aircraft instrumentation, test equipment and ground support gear where a quick-disconnect, vibration-proof coupling is needed in a small package. Series 1 uses solder contacts; Series 2 (MS3470 family) uses rear-release crimp contacts.
