About MIL-DTL-5015 (MS3450 series)
The MS3450 series is the threaded, environmentally sealed, rear-release crimp version of MIL-DTL-5015 (Series III), designed to replace the solder-contact MS3100 series while intermating with it. It keeps the 5015 power ratings (13 A size 16, 23 A size 12, 46 A size 8, 80 A size 4) and adds crimp contacts that can be removed with standard M81969 tools. It also intermates with MIL-DTL-83723 Series II.
